Modern Family (so far...)

I stumbled across this by accident. I was on Twitter and found that Elizabeth Banks had congratulated them on getting a second season. I had never heard of the show (which is VERY unusual for me) so decided to check it out. And once I had, I watched all 11 episodes in a row.

The show is based around 3 families- Michael & Cameron, a gay couple who have just adopted a baby, Claire and Phil who have three childen and lastly Jay, Claire and Michael's father who recently remarried a young women named Gloria, who also has a child. It's made kind of like they are doing a documentary, which is hilarious, especially with Cameron and Michael together (CASABLANCA!) and Phil alone. Highlights include Edward Norton cameo.

Given that it has only aired half of a season, the show was still nominated for a Golden Globe. (Unfortunatly lost out to the well deserving Glee) Now that it has a second season, I think this comedy is gonna scoop up loads of awards in the years to come. Heres hoping more people discover such a brilliant programme.
