Essentially, I would go to see Nathan Fillion just sitting in a room. I have loved him since the moment my brother forced me to watch Firefly, a programme I was so set on not liking. and it was love.
But this show is actually good (which is shown by the fact ABC have kept it on) It's a normal procedural crime show but with a twist- it's not that serious. Castle is a novelist who, in the pilot, is dragged into helping solve a crime with the (naturally) gorgeous detective Kate Becket. Having quite the pull with the mayor, Castle manages to be allowed to help out on cases. He does this mainly by getting in the way alot and twisting the cases into potetional novels.
The relationship between Castle and his daughter is particularly sweet and the whole programme is just fun to watch.
